What to bring with you when applying for an ID

WANT A FREE ID to be able to vote? Head to a PennDOT office prepared with:

* Social Security card

* AND one of the following:

• Certificate of U.S. citizenship
• Certificate of naturalization
• Birth certificate with raised seal
• A valid passport

* AND two proofs of residency, such as:

• Mortgage documents
• A valid passport
• W-2 Form
• Current weapons permit
• Current utility bills (cellphone bills don't count)

* If you live with another person, bring the person whose name appears on the bills to the PennDOT office, as well as one piece of official mail (i.e. magazine subscription) with your name and the same address.
